MIEngineers' COVID-19 Response

As the current COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we are committed to supporting our employees, clients and community through this uncertain time. We are all experiencing unprecedented and rapid changes to our daily lives, but together we can face these challenges.

The safety of those we work with is our first priority. That’s why we activated our COVID-19 Response Plan on Friday, 20 March, enabling our team to work remotely, whilst maintaining continuity across their work. We are pleased to confirm that the majority of our employees are now working remotely to play our part in minimising the spread of COVID-19.

Whilst it is effectively business as usual with regards to our capacity to meet our clients’ needs, we will be in constant contact with our clients as to any changes that may be needed. There are also some changes we have put in place to meet current Commonwealth Government requirements and support the health and safety of our team:

Meetings

Non-essential business meetings are currently being held remotely through one of our online platforms or via teleconference, as our preferred option.

Essential business meetings and site inspections that have a face to face component can continue at this stage. While engaging in face to face meetings, our employees are practicing strict social distancing principles and adhering to current Commonwealth Government advice with regards to number of people attending a given gathering. This will be reviewed as new advice or guidelines become available.

Working from Home

The majority of our team are now utilising work from home, as our preferred option.

The nature of our work is that we can seamlessly work from different locations, and with the excellent resources available to us such as Teams, Zoom and OneDrive, we can continue to support each other just as we do in our offices.

We have a proven track record to maintain our high-quality of service from locations around the world and are confident that our projects can proceed with minimal interruption.

Our office telephones will continue to be answered by our team and directed to the relevant person accordingly.

Travel

All international and domestic travel has been suspended following Commonwealth Government requirements.

Updates

We will continue to provide updates as they become available. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your Project Manager via their mobile or email address.
